Step 1
Review your coverage
Every fall, your plan sends an Annual Notice of Change explaining what's different next year. Premiums, copays, drug lists and networks can all change. It's worth a look, even if you're happy.
Your Medicare path
Plans change every year. Your needs change too. Sometimes the right answer is to change nothing at all.
“A review begins with one question: Is what you have still working for you?”
Step 1
Every fall, your plan sends an Annual Notice of Change explaining what's different next year. Premiums, copays, drug lists and networks can all change. It's worth a look, even if you're happy.
Step 2
Make sure your prescriptions are still covered, and check whether any moved to a different tier or pharmacy price.
Step 3
If you're on a Medicare Advantage plan, confirm your doctors and hospitals are still in the network next year.
Step 4
If your plan is leaving your area or changing in a way that doesn't work for you, you have options. Don't wait until the last week of enrollment.
Step 5
Moving out of your plan's service area can open a Special Enrollment Period () so you can choose a plan where you're going.
Step 6
Got something in the mail that doesn't make sense? Bring it in or call us. Helping you understand it is part of what we do, even if nothing needs to change.
